Neurofeedback on Animals:

Dr. Barry Sterman, PhD. was a sleep researcher who stumbled upon the
miracle of neurofeedback during one of his experiments involving cats
back in 1965.  His work eventually led to the discovery of a
neurofeedback protocol that is still used today to treat grand mal
seizures in epileptics.

Neurofeedback has been proven to show remarkable results with cats, dogs
and horses (and yes, even a rooster!) that have experienced trauma,
anxiety, abuse or neglect, stress, behavior problems, seizures, medical
conditions, accidents and aggressiveness. Neurofeedback is a natural
scientific method that self regulates the brain without the need for
medication.

Neurofeedback is done with animals using a 2 or 4-channel training
(depending on the issue being addressed) for 5-30 minute sessions.
Electrodes are then placed in specific locations on the animals ears and
head, using ear clips and non-abrasive paste. Since it is impossible to
do eyes-closed conditioning, we do eyes-open conditioning using tones
and treats when needed. Dogs and cats are sitting on the floor or in
their owners laps, while horses are standing in stalls or tied to a
hitching post.

The black horse was injured and had some tendon damage and swelling. Bioregulation Therapy was used on him, this is a video that the owner sent over of him out playing the day after his Bioregulation Therapy session .
